Welcome to Food & Drink Export Ireland

The Food and Drink Export Ireland, a division of the Irish Exporters Association (IEA), aims to assist Irish food and drink companies to enhance their sales and marketing performance in the home market and to establish, develop and increase sales abroad.

As a member of the IEA, companies have access to a range of programmes, clinics and services that will enable owner/managers to develop their sales and marketing strategy, their export strategy and gain a deep understanding of international best practice.

The IEA is running 2 programmes in 2010 - the Channel Clusters Programme and the Celtic Recipes Programme. For more details please see the Programmes section.

A number of regular clinics to help companies in the following areas: Branding, Export Sales, Channel Audit and Digital Communications. At these clinics, each company’s performance is thoroughly assessed by an industry expert and recommendations are made for future direction.

The Irish Exporters Association, also provides a range of other services and benefits to its members. On a macro level, the IEA provides a voice to companies by representing members' interests at the highest level and providing key networking opportunities.

On a day-to-day operational level the IEA provides its members with a range of services, including expert assistance and advice on international trade matters; regular communication on the latest national and international developments affecting trade; a range of export training programmes; notification of business opportunities and a visa and export documentation and legalisation service.
