This event took place on Saturday, 9th April 2011 at the European Parliament building, 43 Molesworth Street, Dublin 2.  The title was “Doing Business in Europe” and the objective was th brief SMEs on how to do business in Europe.  The event ran from 9.30am to 1.30pm.  

SMEs were provided with advice on how to expand into European markets and were given insights into the opportunities and challenges. Guests heard a number of success stories from entrepreneurs who have broken into continental European markets. Information was also provided on bank support and what Europe is doing to support SMEs.

Gay Mitchel, MEP, chaired the event and the speakers included:

Attendance was free of charge on a first come, first served basis. Lunch was provided.
