Breaking into UK Foodservice Clinic - Thurs 25th August |

Due to the success of the 'Breaking into UK Foodservice' clinic on Thursday 21st July, the IEA ran this again on Thursday 25th August.
Jane Newbigging of Context Business Solutions met 6 companies on that date for individual one to one meetings. She gave each an overview of the UK Foodservice industry and offered advice and direction.
This clinic is designed for companies who are new to UK Foodservice, recent entrants or those that have not fully explored the channel. The IEA will run a further one to one clinic with Jane shortly. Details to follow.

Opportunities in UK Foodservice Clinic - Thursday 21st July |

The IEA held a clinic on Thursday July 21st on 'Opportunities in UK Foodservice'. Jane Newbigging of Context Business Solutions met 7 companies in the IEA Boardroom in Merrion Square for one hour each to discuss UK Foodservice with them and offer guidance and direction to them.
This clinic was free to members of the IEA. |

The first Cork Food Forum of 2011 took place on Wednesday February 16th 2011 in Inchydoney Lodge and Spa Hotel in Clonakilty from 6 to 9pm. Speakers included Carmel-Anne Brennan, Commercial Business Manager of Dairy Chilled, Convenience and Local Irish Foods, Tesco Ireland; Sean Óg Duffy, Sales and Marketing Manager, Truly Irish Bacon and Michael O'Neill, Owner Manager, Irish Atlantic Sea Salt and Abalone Ireland.

Study Tour to London, 7th September 2010 |

On Tuesday 7th of September, the IEA brought a delegation of food companies on the Channel Clusters programme to London to visit 6 speciality food stores. A delegation of food companies from Wales also took part in this study tour. The stores visited were Fortnum and Masons, Selfridges, Wholefoods, Union Market, John Lewis Foods Hall (Oxford St) and Source Market (Kings Cross).

BWG Meet the Buyer Day - Tues 8th June |

BWG have confirmed that the Meet the Buyer Day with the five companies on the Channel Clusters Programme will take place on Tuesday June 8th in Citywest Hotel. BWG have confirmed they will meet each of the companies on a one to one basis at this launch day and will give a full overview of their business and all aspects to doing business with them.
The 5 companies in the cluster are JM Food Services, Dunhill Cuisine, Kyles Kitchen, McEvoy Foods and Stable Diet.
